Carved Painted Wooden Blue Jay Standing on Driftwood A. Chadwick Martha Vineyard

Carved wooden hand painted, wire leg Blue Jay, standing on driftwood base, pencil signed A. Chadwick Martha Vinyard. Birds colors are grayish blue, various shades of blues, black, white with red painted split lip beak. Eyes are painted in place. Colors are good, there is a paint chip on tip of beak. There is also some wear on paint around head. Wire legs show small amount of rust on bottom where legs are attached to wood. The feet are painted on the wood. Whole piece is solid, bird is attached to wood and does not come apart. Driftwood base has been sanded smooth. Wings are in good condition with little to no wear of paint. Approximate measurement of wood base with bird is 9″ long x 4-1/2″ tall. Approximate measurements of the bird is 3-1/2″ tall x 6″ long.
